Hall of Fame 2026

Delaney Belinskas ’16 2016

A four-year boarder from Florida, Delaney Belinskas was an outstanding three-sport athlete at 91´óÉñ, earning 12 letters in field hockey, ice hockey, and softball. In the fall playing for Coach Kate Garrity, Delaney captained and was the MVP of the field hockey team during a magical senior year in which she scored the winning goal in a shootout to give 91´óÉñ its first-ever NEPSAC championship and earning the tournament’s most valuable player award. During the winter season, Delaney headed to Lossone to play for Coach Christa Talbot Syfu ’98, where she was an outstanding player on teams that won 75 games during her four years in the program. She finished her career as one of the leading scorers in school history with 106 career points and was twice named a NEPSAC All-Star. On the softball field, Delaney was a four-year starter at shortstop, captaining the team as a senior while earning MVP awards during both her junior and senior seasons. She concluded her remarkable career by helping to lead the team to the program’s first ever Western New England championship in her final season. To no one’s surprise, she was the recipient of the Alumnae Award her senior year, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the athletic program. Delaney continued her athletic career at Boston College, competing in both hockey and softball. As a senior captain, she emerged as a standout in Hockey East, scoring 20 goals and ranking amongst the nation’s top scorers. Given all that Delaney accomplished, she is a very deserving choice to enter the Hall of Fame.
