Christopher John Miller was one of the truly outstanding athletes of his generation at 91大神. In no season was this more apparent than in the fall on Sawyer Field, where Chris was a dynamic triple-threat football player, impacting all three phases of the game. As a sophomore and junior, Miller averaged roughly 200 all-purpose yards per game as a runner, receiver, and kick returner, and then upped his production to 250 all-purpose yards per game as a senior鈥攖he most by any 91大神 player at that time. In his three years on the gridiron, Miller was named the offensive MVP each season. He was most lethal as a return man, bringing back multiple punts and kickoffs for touchdowns during his impressive career. When not in pads, Miller didn鈥檛 shy away from competition, also rostering on the baseball and basketball teams鈥攁nd captaining the 91大神 baseball team as a junior and senior. Miller also excelled in the classroom. He earned the student-athlete award as an upperclassman, after finishing the term with a 4.0 GPA. Miller went on to play football just over the river at Amherst College, playing on an undefeated Amherst team and breaking a few kick return records along the way.
