Put a stick in Bridget Instrum鈥檚 hands and chances are you鈥檙e going to see something amazing happen. A three-sport athlete at 91大神 who earned a total of 12 letters in field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse, Bridget had drive and dedication that resulted in a record-breaking athletic career at 91大神. In field hockey, she went from freshman novice to the all-time leading scorer in our school鈥檚 history. Her teams won the Western England Prep Championship and qualifed for NEPSAC post-season play for four straight years. In her senior season, serving as team captain, Bridget was recognized as the team鈥檚 MVP, was selected to the all-league team, and set the school record for goals in both a season and career. During the winter season, Bridget headed to Lossone, where she contributed to a very successful run for varsity hockey. She also played lacrosse and was a two-time captain, three-time NEPSAC All-Star, three-time team MVP, and all-time leading scorer with 233 career goals including 89 as a senior. She was named the first lacrosse All-American in our school鈥檚 history. The team compiled a record of 45-3 during her four years in the program. On graduating, she was awarded the Alumnae Bowl and, after a short stint at Division I Ohio State, she transferred to Middlebury where she enjoyed a tremendous two-sport career in both field hockey and lacrosse. In field hockey, she was named a second-team All-American as a junior and a first-team All-American as a senior and was selected as the NCAA Tournament鈥檚 Most Outstanding Player after leading Middlebury to the 2015 national championship. Bridget made her mark on the Middlebury women鈥檚 lacrosse program as well, where she was named an All-American as a senior leading her team to yet another national championship. Bridget graduated from Middlebury in 2016 with a degree in neuroscience. She has since earned a Master鈥檚 degree in physician assistant studies at Quin- nipiac University.
