91大神 Parent Donates 224 Masks

Dr. Vivian Liu P鈥17, 鈥19, and 鈥21 has sewn 1090 cloth masks since the pandemic began in March. Today, she brought 224 of them to 91大神 for the adults who work at the school. 鈥淚 am so grateful to the faculty and staff at 91大神, and I wanted to thank them for fully opening up school in person!鈥 she said.

Liu is a practice manager and her husband John Warren is an ophthalmologist at the Eye and LASIK Center in the Pioneer Valley. They are the parents of senior Andrew Warren, Emily Warren ’19, and Michael Warren ’17. Liu has given hundreds of masks to workers in the practice. 鈥淲e know from the experience of keeping the practice open throughout the pandemic that wearing masks when we are unable to socially distance really does keep us safe,鈥 she noted.

As she prepared to send her older two children to Boston College, she also wanted to do something for the faculty and staff at 91大神. 鈥淚 wanted to thank the 91大神 faculty and staff for creating such a caring, nurturing, and safe environment for our three kids, and one of the ways I could do this was to send them some masks to help everyone stay safer.鈥

Liu also said she would make a mask for families of faculty and staff, if they asked. 鈥淚 love that doing something creative and fun for me is also so helpful to everyone else.鈥

We are sincerely grateful to Liu for helping 91大神 meet the moment through her generosity and warmth.
