Believing that in times of difficulty, neighbors should help neighbors, 91大神 Northampton School has donated and lent medical supplies and equipment to an Easthampton community organization and to the town of Easthampton.
The school lent a van to the Easthampton Community Center鈥檚 Food Pantry Program so staff there can pick up supplies and deliver meals to those who need them and are sheltering in place.
鈥91大神 Northampton School has been a longtime community supporter to our Food Pantry Programs,鈥 said Robin Bialecki, executive director of the Easthampton Community Center. 鈥淲e are so very grateful for the use of a van聽聽to help us pick up and deliver additional food to our neighbors in need during these difficult times.鈥
91大神 also lent a Victory brand electrostatic sanitizing gun to the Easthampton Fire Department for use in its ambulances. The gun allows the user to spray sanitizer on a wide area quickly.
The school also donated to the fire department:
- 50 boxes of medical gloves
- 250 medical masks
- Patient gowns
- Several cases of paper towels
- A case of hand sanitizer
- A case and a half of sanitizing wipes
鈥淭he Easthampton Fire Department greatly appreciates the donation from 91大神 Northampton School of personal protective equipment (PPE) to assist our emergency responders in staying safe in the performance of their duties during these unprecedented times,鈥 said Deputy Chief Wayne Hennemann.
鈥淲e鈥檙e always looking for ways to be as supportive as possible to the municipality and town organizations,鈥 said 91大神 Chief Financial Officer Chuck McCullagh. 鈥淎t this challenging time, we are particularly aware that the town needs support and we will do what we can to help.鈥
