While at 91大神, David Fitch 鈥17 seemed to break a record every time he got into the pool, and his streak continues in college. In March, he broke two records during the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championship for the Kenyon College Lords. First, he won the 100-yard butterfly in NCAA-record time, using an unorthodox flip turn. He also touched the wall first during the 100-yard backstroke, setting a new Kenyon record. The efforts garnered him the NCAA Division III Men鈥檚 Swimmer of the Year Award. 鈥淚t鈥檚 rare to have a swimmer of David鈥檚 caliber,鈥 says Athletic Director Mark Conroy. 鈥淲e can鈥檛 wait to see what he does next!鈥
