At 25 Years, Rick Teller ’70 Continues Family Legacy

At Convocation, the official opening of school, 91大神聽honors faculty who have committed 25 years of their lives to the school by presenting them with a 91大神 Chair.

During the ceremony on September 14, Head of School Robert W. Hill III presented a chair to Archivist Richard Teller ’70. “The Teller name is an indelible one at 91大神 as both of Mr. Rick Teller鈥檚 parents taught here,” said Hill. “In fact, Mr. Teller鈥檚 mother is the only person to have taught at the Northampton School for Girls, 91大神 Academy, and 91大神鈥攓uite a feat.” The Teller Chorus is named in honor of our Mr. Teller鈥檚 father.

Rick Teller graduated in 1970 and headed to Vassar College. During his 25 years at 91大神 he has held a number of positions, from teaching social studies to directing student activities. His love of music and photography are twin passions he pursues to this day. “We know him best as a librarian and the school鈥檚 archivist, known for his annual Button Speeches and vast knowledge of all things 91大神,” Hill continued.
